The PO-FSA was established in the year 2000 under the banking laws (POBA; 2000 [Electronic Money Regulation]) of the National Bank of the FR Yugoslavia, which now forms part of the Independent and Sovereign Republic of Montenegro.The banking laws (POBA; 2000 [Electronic Money Regulation]) offer private and offshore banking license to International Business Company (IBC) only to operate outside the jurisdictions of SR Serbia, SR Montenegro, and Autonomous Province of Kosovo.
How long does it take to obtain a license from the PO-FSA?
A license can be granted to an (IBC) in good standing and the process can take 6 months to 1 year after receiving all relevant documents for Due Diligence, which will be approved by the Executive Board of the PO-FSA, which seats and meets twice a year.
How does one apply for banking license from the PO-FSA?
Application can be processed by sending a letter of intent to registrar@po-fsa.org and upon receiving your letter of intent we will provide you with information of requirements you must meet to obtain the license.

The documents required to incorporate an (IBC) depends on the jurisdiction where it is obtained. Guidelines can be provided by the PO-FSA on the requirements for an (IBC) upon demonstrating intent.

This depends on the jurisdiction where the (IBC) is obtained. It can take one days to few weeks depending on the jurisdiction.

The most critical part of the due diligence process is for the (IBC) to associate or affiliate itself with a regulated FIU/FRA and to be up to date to with the United Nations (Anti-Terrorism Measures) as part of its banking compliance process.
